An ugly life aboard this train I’ve been waiting for so long An ugly life aboard this train One chance left to make it now it's gone All gone Yeh gone Abandon everything you know Some evil here should be easily overthrown Those kids are working on this scene No ones knows exactly what they mean To be You’ll see I’m alive I'm alive And I don’t know where to go In this cold world Whatever happened to decent I’ve got my head in the clouds Trama is still pretty recent Nothing can stand in our way I’m alive I'm alive And I don’t know where to go In this cold world Whatever happened to decent I’ve got my head in the clouds Kids should be running the engine Nothing can stand in their way

Something’s got ahold of me Lying in the yard under the stars It never came too easily But nothing worth is without working hard Or broken hearts Move the plastic changing scene I tried to warn you just before you fell Did you abandon everything Too afraid that love might suit you well Too new to tell Searching for your falling star Wondering where you are At least it’s not the same Always far ahead of me A lesson learned admiring too soon While the slow piano played In the heat you danced around the room Always in bloom A letter scrawled in silhouette Pretty soon you’ll be leaving town Leaning on the window ledge Counting as the rain fell to the ground I miss that sound Searching for your falling star Wondering where you are At least it’s not the same Something’s got ahold of me Lying in the yard under the stars

PLEASE PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN AND HELP KEEP THIS IMPORTANT VENUE PART OF RHODE ISLAND'S MUSIC SCENE!

The Parlour is known for hosting music every night - from Rock and Reggae... to Folk, Funk and Jazz... as well as Open Mic and Karaoke nights that are loved. Unfortunately, this space is under serious threat of being permanently closed. With the help of our community, we can get through this incredibly tough time caused by the current pandemic.
